How to Create a Great Home
Now that you have completed your purchase contract, selected structural options and have started the mortgage process, it is time to have a little fun. Masons Interiors offers a wide variety of popular brand name items that will help you turn your house into your home. This is where you will be able to select your flooring, lighting, plumbing, cabinetry, appliances and countertops.
Please contact Masons Interiors to schedule an appointment exclusively for you. Anticipate spending 3 hours to go through the selection process and sign related paperwork. You will be making many important decisions for your new home. It has been our experience that to fully focus on these decisions, receive maximum benefits and fully enjoyment of your visit, you may want to arrange babysitter services, if at all possible.
Upon signing your final paperwork, you will be required to remit a check for 25% of newly selected options if your selections exceed $10,000. All selections will then be passed along to your homebuilding
Supervisor. Any changes after 3 business days will require a $500 non-refundable payment. This payment is due at the time the change is made, plus the cost of the change.

Complete Structural Options
- Structural Options are to be completed no later than 10 days after contract; Please speak with your Sales Representative
- Requests for Structural Changes beyond 10 days from contract:
- A non-refundable fee of $500 plus cost of change, if accepted.
- Request for Structural Changes will not be accepted upon House Start
- Requests for structural changes at the Design Center will:
- Immediately stop the process of making selections
- Create a need for rescheduling first appointment
Complete Custom Option Requests
- Requests for Custom Options will be considered within 10 days of contract. Restrictions apply; please see your Sales Representative
- Accepted Custom Option Requests over $2,000:
- If approved, a 25% non-refundable deposit of total cost
- Some custom options require full deposit cost of option. See sales representative for details.
- Requests for custom options at the Design Center will:
- Immediately stop the process of making selections
- Create a need for rescheduling first appointment
Model Visits
Many of our homeowners have found it very helpful to visit model homes prior to their appointment in order to see different appliances, cabinets, flooring displayed in a home.
Participants at Design Center Appointment
We limit our appointments to our homeowners plus one additional person. You will be making very important decisions for your new home and we want you to have the opportunity to be fully focused. We recommend that children do not accompany you during your appointment.

Please be prompt for your appointment as there may be another appointment immediately following. In the event you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please call Masons Interiors 24 hours in advance.

It has been our experience that by adhering to this agenda, we can ensure you will be able to review all the available selections. If you have not finalized your selections in a specific area, we will continue to move forward and revisit any remaining selections at the conclusion of your appointment. Sometimes a decision that was originally difficult to make falls into place as you continue making selections for the remainder of your home.
Deposits
Design Center selections of $10,000 or more:
25% deposit on total cost to be paid at time of final selections
Change Requests after Design Center Appointment
- Requests for changes accepted up to 3 business days following appointment
- Design Center selections are final 3 business days following appointment
- Requests for changes after 3 business days require a $500 non-refundable fee plus cost of change, if accepted
