Green Communities
The Live Smart Townhome Series at Daybreak are Silver Level Green Certified by the National Green Building Standards. They are the first certified Green Built homes in Daybreak. These townhomes are built using eco-friendly materials, Low E windows, Energy Star appliances, Low-VOC paint and other materials, MERV 8 filters, Efficient heating and cooling equipment and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified lumber.

Since 2006, almost every Hamlet community has featured Energy Star rated homes. These communities include, Huntly Manor townhomes, Daybreak single-family and townhomes, Millburn Manor single-family homes and Birkhill townhomes. Energy Star built homes can reach a 15% - 30% lower utility operating costs.
